Body found in search for missing Shrewsbury pensioner
Police searching for a pensioner who went missing from his Shrewsbury home have found a body.
Kenneth Webster, 80, was reported missing early on Wednesday morning by concerned relatives.
But in the afternoon officers searching for Mr Webster found a body in the water near to Moneybrook Way in Meole Brace.
Formal ID has not yet taken place but next of kin have been informed.
The death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
