Elderly woman taken to hospital after crash with lorry near Shrewsbury
An elderly woman was taken to hospital after a collision between a car and a lorry near Shrewsbury today.
Emergency crews were called to Montford Bridge following reports of the collision shortly before 1.45pm.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman Jamie Arrowsmith said a passenger in the car, in her 70s, was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital as a precautionary measure after she complained of chest and neck pain.
