Five taken to hospital after two-car crash on A5

Five patients were taken to hospital following a two-car crash in Gobowen.

It happened on the A5 at its junction with the B5009 at about 8.30pm yesterday.

Three fire crews, four ambulances and police were sent to the scene.

Two women, two girls and a man were taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

Their injuries were not believed to be serious.
