Ellesmere woman, 36, dies after car crashes into house

A Shropshire woman has died after her car crashed into a house.

Adrianna Dereszewicz, 36, from Ellesmere, died in hospital, police confirmed today.

She was airlifted to the Royal Stoke University Hospital after the crash near Overton on Wednesday evening.

North Wales Police said she died in hospital on Friday.

The tragedy happened on the A539 between Overton and Erbistock when the car she was driving left the road and crashed into a house.

Police said they were renewing their appeal for witnesses to the one-vehicle crash which happened at around 7.30pm and involved a silver-coloured Vauxhall Zafira which left the road and hit the property.

Sergeant Meurig Jones said: “Our thoughts are very much with the woman's family and friends as they try and come to terms with what has happened.

“The investigation is underway and we continue to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the collision and who is yet to come forward, or to anybody who may have been travelling along the A539 in Overton just prior to the collision and who may have dash cam to contact us immediately.”
