Investigation continues into village deaths

The investigation is continuing into how two people died at a house in the village of Pant near Oswestry.

Emergency services were called to the house on the A483 on April 21.

West Mercia police said sadly the bodies of two people, a man in his 50s and a woman in her 70s, were discovered at the property while West Midlands ambulance said it was called to reports of a cardiac arrest.

Today a spokesman for the police force said there were no updates in the tragedy.

"The coroner is aware and the investigation is ongoing," the spokesman said.
