Zulu the five-week-old German Shepherd was playing at home near Oswestry when she got her head and neck lodged in an iron log basket at about 8pm on Saturday.
The fire service was called and a crew from Oswestry attended the address in Great Fernhill, Iron Mills, Gobowen.
Oswestry crew manager James Lewis said: "Zulu was successfully released from iron log basket using Holmatro pedal cutters, washing up liquid and water."
