Drink-drive arrest after Oswestry crash

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash in Oswestry.

West Mercia Police officers were called to the two-vehicle crash on the B5069 Gobowen Road at around 6pm on Sunday.

One woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol.

West Midlands Ambulance Service were also called to the scene and two people were treated as a precaution.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "Police were called at 6pm about a collision involving two vehicles on Gobowen Road.

"Two people were treated by paramedics as a precaution.

"One woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence."
