Car overturns in Oswestry crash

A car flipped onto its roof in Oswestry in an early hours crash today.

Emergency services crews were called at B5069, Gobowen Road, at around 12.40am to reports of a car on its roof.

The driver of the saloon vehicle had managed to get themselves out of the vehicle, following the crash.

Jamie Arrowsmith, from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a car on its roof.

"There was one patient who had managed to get themselves out of the vehicle. They were uninjured and discharged at the scene."

One fire crew from Oswestry attended the scene and assisted to make the vehicle safe.

West Mercia Police were also at the scene.
