Roy Ernest Bundy, aged 79, from Chester, and Walter Stanley Dobrowolski, 67, from Ellerdine, Telford, were both pronounced dead at the scene following the crash on the A525 near Whitchurch on March 21.

The inquest into their deaths will be held in Shirehall, in Shrewsbury, on Wednesday at 10am.

The road was closed between Whitchurch and Broughall after the crash while an investigation was launched by police.

Mr Bundy, a retired distribution worker, was crossing the road when he was in collision with the bike ridden by Mr Dobrowolski, a retired man who had previously been self-employed.

Following their deaths, friends described Mr Dobrowolska as a “very kind and lovely man” and experienced motorcyclist, while Mr Bundy was described as a “smashing guy” and a great part of the fishing community.
