Water company fixes two burst pipes in Shropshire

Two burst water pipes in Shropshire caused supply problems for customers.

Separate incidents at Ellesmere and at Soudley near Cheswardine were reported to Severn Trent Water on Tuesday morning.

The water company apologised to customers in Soudley who may have experienced a drop in water pressure.

A repair of the burst in Roman Road took longer than expected but they had it fixed by 2.02pm.

In the SY12 postcode area of Ellesmere there was a burst water pipe on Caegoody Lane but it was all fixed by 12.51pm, ahead of schedule.
