New car park opens to relief of parishioners and pub-goers
Parishioners and pub-goers came together in Norton in Hales to celebrate a joint collaboration between the two.

The Norton in Hales Community Car Park was opened officially by the Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire Anna Turner, with villagers and invited guests looking on and enjoying a drink at the adjacent Hinds Head pub afterwards.
The pub is leasing the land to the parish council at a peppercorn rent and the council also received money to refurbish the area after concerns over a lack of parking in the village,
