Emergency services called out to overflowing car at Market Drayton petrol station

Emergency services were called out to a fuel spillage from an overflowing vehicle at a petrol station in Market Drayton.

The fire service attended Morrisons Petrol Station on Maer Lane at about 4.15pm on Tuesday.

The incident involved a fuel spillage on the forecourt which had come from an overflowing vehicle.

Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service sent one appliance from Much Wenlock Fire Station, with fire control classing the incident as 'urgent'.

Crews left the scene shortly after 4.30pm.
