The Plant hunters fair will return to the Dorothy Clive Gardens later this month.

The Dorothy Clive Garden event at Willoughbridge, Market Drayton, takes place on Friday and Saturday, May 21 and 22.

This fair is normally held over the Easter weekend but was not able to go ahead due to Covid restrictions this year.

It has been held at the garden since 2009 and raises funds for the Willoughbridge Garden Charitable Trust, which maintains the 12-acre garden, famed for its dazzling spring display of rhododendrons and azaleas with massed drifts of bulbs.

Some of the country’s most highly respected nurseries and growers will be attending.

The plant fair runs from 10am to 5pm Friday, May 21, and Saturday, May 22, and people can get entry to the garden and plant fair for the combined cheaper price of £4.

Dogs on leads are welcome and refreshments will be available.

Booking is essential and tickets are available at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/whats-on/willoughbridge-willoughbridge/the-dorothy-clive-garden/spring-plant-hunters-fair/e-lxgpyv or by visiting www.planthuntersfairs.co.uk
