Bin fires were deliberate firefighters say

Arsonists set fire to bins in a town centre.

Firefighters put out the fires on the High Street

A number of bins and a rubbish skip were set on fire in the High Street in Market Drayton tonight .

Emergency services were called out just before 7pm.

Fire fighters from the town's fire station used a hosereel jet to bring the blazes under control within 20 minutes.

Also at the scene of the incident were the police.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said sadly the fire had been started deliberately.
