Fire destroys six metres of hedge in Market Drayton

A hedge caught fire accidentally in Market Drayton.

The fire service was called to Summerhill Gardens in the town at 1pm on Monday.

The fire destroyed six metres of the conifer hedge, and firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish it.

They confirmed the fire was started accidentally.
