Josh Sedgley, 19, is a budding photographer who loves chronicling the beauty of his native north Shropshire.

And a 2019 calendar made up of his shots has been a hit already, with a reprint underway as the first run sold out.

Josh, from Loggerheads near Market Drayton, said: "I'm very surprised. I didn't expect them to sell so well.

"It is a great confidence booster though. I definitely want to become a professional photographer one day."

The calendar is on sale at the Hart to Hart card shop on Stafford Street, where owner Barbara Jones has organised the tradition for the last six years.

Josh's father Graham said the calendars have garnered international acclaim, with townspeople sending them to relatives in Finland, Canada and Australia.

Graham said: "People mainly send them to family who used to live in the area, to make them homesick I suppose."

Josh's photos also adorned Christmas cards sold at Hart to Hart, and he was a finalist in the BBC's Countryfile photo competition.

He hopes to provide shots for the 2020 Hart to Hart calendar too.
