Driver cut free after crash near Market Drayton

A driver was cut from a vehicle near Market Drayton after crashing into a hedge.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue crews from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington were called to the accident in Hinstock at 10.36am yesterday.

Four crews including a rescue tender used electric saws and cutters to release the driver, who was not badly hurt.

The accident happened as snow descended on the region, making roads slippery.
