Trapped cows released by firefighters after trailer overturns on A41 near Market Drayton

The animals had to be cut free from the trailer by firefighters.

The accident happened on the A41 at Bletchley just before 4pm on Monday.

Three fire appliances, including the rescue tender, were mobilised from Hodnet and Wellington.

Shropshire fire and rescue service said the animals were released within an hour.
