Police searching for owners of bronze bust found in car

Police are trying to trace the owner of a distinctive bronze bust found in a car in Mid Wales.

Officers believe the bronze item is stolen, after it was recovered by police in a car that was stopped in Berriew, near Welshpool, on Sunday, December 2.

Wooden stools and other items were recovered from the car, and police are appealing for the owners.

Temporary Sergeant Steve Williams said: “We are keen to trace the owner of this distinctive piece, as well as the other items, which include wooden stools.

“If anyone recognises this piece and can help us trace its owner please get in touch by calling 101.”
