Makefast Ltd, which manufactures and supplies products for luxury marine craft, safety products and hardware, has announced that a number of staff will attempt the Welsh Three Peaks on August 6, providing Covid restrictions allow.

The aim is to complete the three highest peaks in Wales in 24 hours, starting at Snowdon followed by Cadair Idris and finishing with Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons.

The company is looking for transport to help support the event.

James Love from Makefast said: "We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for three amazing charities: Ponthafren Association, a mental health charity based in Newtown; Designability which makes powered wheelchairs specifically designed for physically disabled children; and Macmillan Cancer Support.

"All three charities have been chosen by the people taking part in the event whose lives have been affected in some way and helped by these charities.

"We are desperately looking for transport to support this event – either minibuses or a coach for approximately 30 people."

Anyone that may be able to help with transport should contact James Love at Makefast.
