Survey could net you £50

People living in the Newtown area have the chance to win £50 for giving their views on the town council's plans.

Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council is unveiling its draft plans for the next five years and is inviting feedback from residents of the town.

A four week public consultation is running until June 6 and all those over the age of 16 who complete the survey have the chance to win a prize.

The Town Council is responsible for a range of services around the town such as maintaining the public toilets, play areas and gardens, events and tourist information and is interested to hear people’s views on the plans already set out for 2018/19 and additional ideas for the years 2019 - 2023.

Topics include the town centre, green spaces, residential areas, visitors and marketing, young people, heritage, culture, arts and events, the town after the bypass, sport and recreation.

The survey can be found online at www.newtown.org.uk/consultations with paper copies of the survey also available at the Town Council offices at The Cross, Broad Street. Also look out for an information stall at the Tuesday market on May 22 and June 5.
