Part of Mid Wales town closed because of fire
Part of a Mid Wales town was closed off today because of a building fire.
Police say a cordon has been set up stopping motorists and pedestrians accessing Bridge Street, in Rhayader, because of the fire which broke out this morning.
It is not yet known how serious the fire is.
Dyfed Powys Police have urged people to avoid the area.
Diversions were already in place for the town because of ongoing gas works.
