Natural Resources Wales is warning that there are several low lying minor roads affected by flooding in the Upper Vyrnwy catchment area, west of Welshpool and Oswestry and on land between the two towns.

The B4393 at Llansantffraid is also under threat of flooding.

A flood alert for the Upper Severn in the Newtown area has now been lifted.

Further afield there is still an alert on the Dyfi catchment in Mid Wales.

There are several alerts in place in south Wales which saw up to four inches of rainfall on Saturday thanks to a slow moving front.
