Crews from Presteigne and Knighton along with firefighters from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene near the B4372, Kinnerton, just after 5.30am.

The two floor, single domestic property was well alight and left severely damaged by the fire.

Nobody was at the property.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze this morning but returned to the property this afternoon following reports it had partially collapsed.

Powys County Council tweeted to say the B4372 is likely to remain closed overnight.
