The 19-year-old was last seen in the early hours of July 25 in Builth Wells town centre.

After a five-day large scale search, his body was found in a deep pool in the River Wye.

The inquest opening on Tuesday heard how he was last seen on CCTV walking through a car park at 12.01am on July 25.

After he failed to meet up with his family at the showground, a full scale search was launched with hundreds of people from Montgomery and across Powys aiding the police search.

At the inquest in Aberdare, Coroner Andrew Barkley said he did not suspect any third party involvement.

The inquest was adjourned to November 10 at Welshpool Town Hall for a full hearing.
