Road closed as sinkhole opens up near Shropshire homes
A three-metre deep sinkhole has opened up in a road in Shropshire town.
Park View in Broseley has been closed while barriers have been placed around the hole, which Shropshire Council says measures 4m x 2m across and 3m deep.
In posts on social media, the council said "we don't yet know what has caused the hole", but it's "not currently affecting any properties".
Residents in Park View are worried it will approach their homes, claiming the hole has got bigger since it was first noticed three weeks ago.
