The vacancy was caused by the resignation of long-standing councillor David Tremellen in January.

Those nominated are Liam Daniel Atwal, from Kinlet, for the Labour Party; Clare Nash, from Bridgnorth, for the Green Party; Naomi Waterson, from Highley, for the Conservative Party, and Mark Nicholas Williams, of Highley, for the Liberal Democrats.

The by-election will take place on June 23 and voters will be notified on their polling cards where they should cast their vote.
