Firefighters scrambled to house in Claverley

Three fire engines were scrambled to reports of a house fire near Bridgnorth.

When they arrived on the scene in Clover Heath, Claverley, they found a fire involving an electric cable to a shower.

Emergency services were called at 10.05pm on Monday.

They used equipment that Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service describes as "small gear" to tackle the incident, which was attended by an operations officer and one fire engine from West Midlands Fire Service.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was over just a little under 35 minutes later.
