Dog rescued from river in Bridgnorth by fisherman
A dog that got into trouble in the river in Bridgnorth was rescued by a helpful fisherman.
The Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said they were called at about 5.30pm on Friday to reports of a black labrador stuck in the river off Well Meadow.
But by the time firefighters from Much Wenlock and Telford arrived, a fisherman had got the dog out of the water himself.
