Dozens of Morgan motor cars came to Bridgnorth for an event

Both people in the car suffered serious injuries in the crash, which happened near to Brim Pool in Dudmaston Hall at about 2.40pm on Sunday.

West Mercia Police said they were not yet sure what had caused the silver vintage three-wheeled car to leave the road, but would like witnesses with information to come forward.

The crash happened on the same day as a Morgan Three-Wheeler event in Bridgnorth.

Organiser Dave Anscombe said the crash had been a low point on an "otherwise excellent day".

About 75 of the historic motor cars descended on the town for the event.

A display of the three-wheelers stood outside the Severn Valley Railway.

Specialists and enthusiasts were on hand to answer questions and talk about the classic cars from their time of creation to present date.

Police would like to speak to anybody who was in the area of the crash, including anyone who saw the vehicle shortly before the collision or any motorists who were on the A442 on Sunday afternoon and have dash cam footage.

Anyone with information can contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting reference 421N 140419.
