The water supply to homes in the WV16 area of the town was affected.

The burst happened on Thursday and contractors spent the day working to repair the pipe.

A spokesman for Severn Trent said this morning: "We're happy to say that most water supplies should now be restored in the WV16 area of Bridgnorth.

"The water pipe that burst outside the Severn Valley train station on Hollybush Road is still being repaired and we're working hard to get everything back to normal."
