Pedestrian hit by car in Bridgnorth

A pedestrian had to be taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Bridgnorth.

Members of the public helped the pedestrian after the crash, which happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday.

The ambulance service arrived and checked the pedestrian for minor injuries before taking them to to hospital for a check up.

Anybody who saw anything should call 101 to speak to police.
