Crews called to crashes in Bridgnorth and Oswestry

Two crashes caused disruption for Bank Holiday commuters in the region.

In the first a car overturned at the Shotatton Crossroads, near Oswestry, at about 11am yesterday.

Fire crews from Baschurch and Oswestry attended, including the rescue tender and an operations officer. They made the vehicle safe and were able to leave the scene shortly before 11.30am.

At about 11.15am, paramedics treated one person at the scene after a van and car collided, in Victoria Road, Bridgnorth.

No one was trapped in either incident. Fire crews and ambulance teams attended.
