Flooding closes motorway lane causing delays to motorists on M5 and M6

Motorway drivers faced delays due to flooding closing a lane on the M5 link onto the M6.

The flooded carriageway caused congestion on the M5 northbound link arm to the M6 southbound on Friday.

Drivers were told to allow extra time.
