Trapped casualty cut free after Shrewsbury crash

One person had to be cut free after being trapped in a car that crashed in Shrewsbury.

The car left the road and rolled over in Bank Farm Road at around 2pm on Monday.

Two fire crews from Shrewsbury and the air ambulance and used cutting tools and a low-pressure airbag to release the driver from the car.

He was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where his injuries were not thought to be serious.
