Shropshire firefighters help tackle blazing horse box

Crews were called to help put out a horse box blaze over the Shropshire border. Firefighters based at Whitchurch went to Cross O'th Hill Road, in No Man's Heath near Malpas, in Cheshire, to assist colleagues from Chester.

Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service said it sent one engine after receiving the report after the vehicle caught fire shortly before 2.45pm on Thursday.(23)

The crews found the horse box "well alight" and grass near it box was also burning. The crews used a hose to put out the blaze.
