The three offices in Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Ellesmere have organised numerous fundraising events such as cake sales, book sales, a Christmas hamper raffle, an Easter Egg raffle, fancy dress days and participated in a 275-mile relay baton challenge covering Staffordshire, North Wales and Shropshire.

The money raised under the Local Charity Partnership umbrella has helped the hospice to provide the best care and a better life for people living with an incurable illness.

Tracy van-Mook, bank manager at TSB Oswestry, said: “Our Local Charity Partnership programme is all about working in partnership to help support the local causes that are the lifeblood of many communities across Britain.

“It’s been fantastic to support Severn Hospice which is close to our hearts here in Oswestry, Ellesmere and Shrewsbury, and everyone working here has found our partnership really rewarding.

“As our partnership with Severn Hospice comes to an end, I’d like to wish them the very best for the future, and I look forward to announcing our new Local Charity Partner in September.”

Mike Perry from Severn Hospice said: “It’s been great to work in partnership with TSB. Their support has had a really positive impact on our charity and the work we do here in Oswestry, Shrewsbury and Ellesmere.

“The money we’ve raised together will be used to continue to give specialist care and support to families across Shropshire and Mid Wales who are living with an incurable illness.”
