The final showing of the old Century Cinema at the foot of Wyle Cop in Shrewsbury, before it disappears completely thanks to demolition in August 2002. The building had opened as the Kings Hall Cinema on March 12, 1914. The Century turned to bingo and finally closed in 1973, and became a domestic appliance store. The cleared site was redeveloped as flats.
