Further four Covid deaths at Shropshire hospitals
Another four Covid deaths in the county have been confirmed.
NHS England said that all four patients had died while in the care of Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH).
It means that a total of 512 people have now died with Covid at county NHS trusts – 476 at SaTH, 30 Shropshire Community Health Trust, and six at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital near Oswestry.
There have also been a total of 257 care home deaths in the county – 190 in the Shropshire Council area, and 67 in Telford & Wrekin.
Office for National Statistics data also shows that 201 people have died with Covid in Powys.
