An established firm of Shropshire agricultural engineers is relocating to a new site.

Established in 2003 by John Mottram and Michael Worthing, W&M Agricultural Engineering has announced its relocation to a purpose-built site located just on the outskirts of Oswestry at unit 10 Old Port, Gobowen Road, half-a-mile from the main A5 Oswestry bypass.

With an ever expanding franchises and customer base, this seemed a logical move, said John Mottram.

"Service is key to our business and the move to the new location with modern, fully functional workshops will enhance this, enabling our dedicated staff to provide service and repairs to agricultural machinery in the Shropshire, Cheshire and mid and north Wales areas.

"The move also makes us far more accessible for our customers and logistically, the new location is a lot easier for ourselves."

The move has allowed the firm to open a larger stores area stocking genuine parts for the main franchise as well as aftermarket spares in conjunction with Bepco who provide a large range of quality spares for the agricultural sector.

"The excellent next day service offered by Bepco means that in the unlikely event of your required parts not being in stock with our selves your machine will soon be up and running," John explained.

W&M Agricultural Engineering carries a large stock of parts for Merlo telehandlers and staff have a vast wealth of experience in providing service and repairs for these telehandlers.

"We also provide a Loler lifting regulations ticket service for all types of handlers to keep your machine legal to use. We are also able to supply quality, used low-houred Merlo machines which are fully serviced, Loler ticketed and with warranty which is a great saving on buying a new machine."

W&M have number of key franchise available such as BVL feeders and block cutters and using its own demonstration units can show the customer the feeder's key points on farm where it matters!

NC Engineering has a fantastic range of products including the i Series silage/grain trailer which has proved a very successful product, popular with farmers and contractors alike, with the trailer having a Hardox floor making it 15 per cent lighter and much more durable with a excellent list of options.

Cherry Products have always been a major supplier to W&M offering a vast range of attachments for both the telehandler market and tractor loaders. Cherry Products heavy duty buck rakes are a very good seller and there is a good stock of these at the depot ready for the coming season.

All of these products will be available to view on our trade stand at the upcoming Royal Welsh Grassland event on May 16 where W&M will also have a muck spreader demonstration in association with Jeantil and its award winning Evr Muck spreader.

You can also look out for W&M Agricultural engineering exhibiting at a number of local agricultural shows throughout Shropshire with many products on display.
