Woman pedestrian suffers serious head injuries in Telford cycle collision

A woman in her 60s was knocked unconscious and taken to hospital with serious head injuries after she collided with a cyclist in Telford.

A man on a bicycle was involved in a collision with a woman in Dark Lane, in the Hinkshay Road area,

The woman was knocked unconscious and taken to hospital in Stoke with serious head injuries.

She remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

The incident happened at about 7pm on Saturday.

Pc Steve Wootton said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident and I particularly would like to appeal to the cyclist to contact us."
