Best Schools has awarded the Acton Burnell-based international college two trophies for their top five placements in the categories of co-ed boarding and achievements in the sixth form.

Concord has been ranked on its national league table positions.

Principal Neil Hawkins described the awards as a ‘wonderful endorsement of the quality of education Concord provides.

He said: “Our 2017 leavers produced outstanding results and consequently we have received two top five awards.

“We have top five placement awards in at least one category going back to 2011, though we recognise that league tables don’t tell the whole story of the education we offer.

“The important outcome for any young person is being able to unlock a door of their choosing for a bright future and, more importantly, although it is not measurable, is that they develop into fine, happy and decent people.”
