Adults who struggle with reading can access free support via online or phone sessions.

Read Easy Shropshire Hills is a south Shropshire branch of Read Easy, a national charity that offers reading coaching for new readers.

Difficulty with reading can impact on individuals' employment, education and participation in voting and public life.

In normal times, support sessions would take place face-to-face. Through the pandemic they have been replaced by online or phone sessions.

To access confidential support, call Amana Winchester on 07707 762653 or send an email to shcoordinator@readeasy.org.uk.

If you are interested in volunteering to help, call Ros Payne on 01588 650729 or email shrecruiter@readeasy.org.uk.

The branch covers rural parts of south Shropshire and the neighbouring Welsh borders, including the towns of Bishop's Castle, Church Stretton, Clun, Craven Arms, Knighton, Ludlow and all areas in-between.
