The next phase of development proposes a £7.5 million investment to Holy Trinity Academy in Priorslee and its sports facilities, which will also benefit the wider community.
Working in partnership with the school and diocese, Telford & Wrekin Council will bring forward a plan which will include an additional 300 places for children within the Priorslee ward and those that border it.
The number will include those children who will move into the area as part of planned housing developments within the school's vicinity.
Enhancements will also include an extension of 15 classrooms, improvements to dining provision and public changing facilities for those using the 3G multi-use pitch.
The school will continue to run as normal during the expansion phase with disruption to pupils and the surrounding residents kept to a minimum.
Telford & Wrekin Council is inviting people to look at the outline plans, ahead of their submission in late spring.
Subject to planning approval, work would start in the summer and be completed by summer next year, ahead of the new academic school year.
Residents in the area have been written to about the plans.
