The secondary school wants to demolish existing aged and life-expired modular buildings.

These would be replaced by the construction of a new, single storey six classroom block to re-provide the lost teaching accommodation and increase the Special Education Needs teaching provision at the school.

As part of the proposal the school says it is also keen to install a covered area such that pupils are able to eat and congregate outside during break and lunch periods in all weather. This is proposed to be located within the existing hardstanding courtyard area.

Shropshire Council will decide on the planning application at a later date.
