Rose, who had suffered with mental health issues, died in Shrewsbury at the age of 18 earlier this year. She had attended the fair in Oswestry last year with her mother Kaye.

This year the event, run by Zoe Jones, a tutor at North Shropshire College, was dedicated to the memory of Rose.

Kaye attended the event held on Sunday in Oswestry's Memorial Hall.

Zoe began the event after seeing an increase in the number of youngsters suffering with anxiety at North Shropshire College where she is a tutor.

The second annual event saw workshops take place throughout the day. They included topics such as herbal medicine, essential oils for winter, Kinesiology, how to be less stressed, the healing power of telling your story and the healing power of your voice.

The event was raising funds for BEAM in Shrewsbury, which is a drop-in charity for people with mental health concerns, and for Addiction, which helps youngsters who are addicted to alcohol and drugs.
