The Association, which was re-formed twenty years ago, the initiative of now president, Graham Colman, Dan Powell and Alan Johnson, is keen to make contact with more old boys to ensure its future.

Mr Powell, secretary, said: "Many of the present members are from the 1940s and early 50s era and the invitation is extended to all old boys from the 1950s onwards to join them at this year’s re-union."

It will be held at Oswestry Golf Club on October 26 at 12.30pm for 1pm.

"There is no membership fee to join the Association and all old boys, wives and friends will be warmly welcomed."

At previous re-unions members travelled from Australia, Southern Ireland, Kent, Lancashire, Warwickshire, Devon, Hereford and Wales as well as from Oswestry and Shrewsbury.
