Interim head of the college, Peter McCann, said that in his opinion North Shropshire College was certainly not inadequate.

The label was put on the college in Oswestry in February following an inspection.

Mr McCann said that a follow-up visit had been very positive.

"They were impressed with the good progress that has been made and I am expecting their report will reflect that."

"This is not an inadequate college. It has many features that are very very good."
