Lee Keller, a 20-year-old construction worker, was seen swerving in Old Potts Way in Shrewsbury in the early hours of October 27 this year.

Police officers on routine patrol saw him narrowly miss a bollard, Telford Magistrates Court heard on Tuesday (December 10).

They stopped the car and Keller was arrested after providing an alcohol breath test sample at the roadside.

After being taken into custody shortly before 3am he became hostile to the officers, prosecutor Katie Price told the court.

"He said: 'I will f*** you up, man. I've been drinking'.
