James Morgan, 32, has breached his licence terms and is wanted on recall to prison but can't be located, say officers.
Police are asking for help to find him and believe he may be in north Shropshire or North Wales.
They say he is likely to be in the Market Drayton, Prestatyn or Oswestry areas.
Anyone who has seen him or can help is asked to call 999.
